There are no longer any rental car companies based at Oxenholme railway station. It is a very small but popular station serving the Lake District. To locate the nearest rental car location it is best to search on a laptop/PC/tablet rather than a mobile device.
Enter “Oxenholme” and choose "Oxenholme Kendal” together with your dates and times and press search.
At STEP2 you will see an interactive map, which you can zoom in and out and drag left and right. Icons will appear when there is availability nearby.
If you are travelling by rail North to Oxenholme, you can leave the train at Lancaster (for example) and collect your rental car there.
Lancaster is 20 miles away (30 minutes) to Oxenholme on the motorway. Alternatively KENDAL which is 2 miles north of Oxenholme sometimes has cars.
